These days, marketing, TV, computers and cell phone screens are changing us and emptying the meaning of words. Peace armies are established, we live in freedom but we have no time or money to really decide, we kiss our friends, whom we never get to see, thru an SMS, meet people that are just a few words we see on a computer screen while sitting in some lonely room. As far as we know: armies use violence as their speech, freedom means being able to decide on every second of your life, kisses are meant for a mouth and you get to know people when you look into their eyes and listen to their voice.

OUR REALITY: Everything that goes past our eyes, that our ears can hear, that we can feel with our hands, savour with our mouth, sense with our heart and, more that anything, cools up our mind. Peppers are not peppers anymore, eggs are no longer eggs and the News programs say nothing really new. In short, we live surrounded by empty words and situations that distort reality and change actual meanings.

All this concluded, we’ve just tried to spare a little bit of reality and sincerity, at least in what we are, what we do and what we play.

Triando’s music is fully recorded live. Once we achieved the right takes, all we did was add some small production (palmas, percussion…). The recording stands for what we were at the studio on that particular date, surrounded by all that equipment. In it you can actually hear our tensions, our lies, our fears and, in a very small percentage, our knowledge.

In other words, you get to hear us being what we got to be that day in which someone pressed the “Rec.” button.
